About two years ago, my parents were working on a new pillow design for their company and brought home a bunch of materials to sort through. They had a huge pile of reject materials, so I asked if I could have some.

I combined them over and over until I made a pillow that I liked. I didn’t think much of it until months later, when my friends started asking for it at sleepovers, and their parents were calling my dad to ask for one as they wouldn't stop talking about it. My parents asked me to bring it to them, and said it was the softest pillow they ever felt (and more comfortable than any of their pillows!).

Because it's so squishy-soft I called it my ‘Marshmallow pillow,’ and that's how Marshmalloo was born!
