Pixemo is an interactive installation that explores human emotions in Twitter data. This data is pushed into a digital world where each type of emotion is represented by an individual Pixi. These 'Pixi' creatures exhibit different behaviours dependent on the emotion.
This is an explorative and playful work and the audience has control over what emotions are present in the world and can also interact directly with the Pixies.
This work is still in production to be presented at the 2009 QUT 'This Way Up' Exhibition and you can keep track of its progress here.
